LONG BIO
“Farrad is the future of the hot club scene.  He electrifies his audience with euphoric grooves surpassed only by spectacular moves.  As a dancer, it’s impossible not to compare him to Michael Jackson”  (Bill Robinson, InStyle Magazine)

Farrad debuted tracks off his debut album, The Time Is Now at Santos Party House in NYC and it’s been an upward trajectory ever since. The project was licensed by Bunim/Murray Productions for shows including: MTV’s Real World, Road Rules, Extreme Challenge & The Stylist; E!’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians & Kourtney and Khloe Go To Miami; and Bad Girls Club on Oxygen.

Farrad’s first single “Pick Your Face Up Off The Floor” was a Billboard ‘Breakout for Hot Dance Club Play’.  The song inspired Director Greg Haggart and Ann Gilbertson (producer of music videos and concert footage for acts such as The Rolling Stones, Michael & Janet Jackson, David Bowie and Nine Inch Nails) to collaborate on the accompanying video to realize Farrad’s post-apocalyptic vision of man vs. machine.  The video was featured on MTV/Logo’s Pop Lab in April, 2010 and was featured the network’s The Click List, for 12 weeks in the Top 10.  His second single, Misunderstood debuted on the network’s video countdown at #1.

Farrad’s second video for the subsequent single “Misunderstood” was directed by internationally recognized Director and the visionary behind Big Art Group, Caden Manson.  It debuted on Logo’s Pop Lab in October 2010 and the single was licensed by Abercrombie & Fitch and Banana Republic for national retail play.

In the last year Farrad has also rocked audiences at the most recent New York City Fashion Week, Joe’s Pub, Red Bull Space, the Pridefest Stage on the Hudson, The Endup in San Francisco, Vauxhall’s Club Fire with The Sharp Boys, the famed Madame JoJo’s  in London and with Big Art Group in Salzburg, Austria and Torino, Italy.

His influences include Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Mick Jagger and contemporary artists such as Beyonce, Prince, and The Black Eyed Peas.  Farrad commands a stage with precise choreography, unbridled passion, boundless energy and the singular focus to give the crowd more than they bargained for infusing every song with power, theatrics, and ridiculously catchy hooks.

A regular in the downtown New York City performance scene, has played all over North America, Europe and Australia, and is excited to take his music from the dance floor and into the mainstream.

“Whether he’s laying diverse vocal styles, seductively rapping or commanding his listeners to  ’come together in love!’ Farrad always delivers a take-no-prisoners attitude.” (Skope Magazine)
